Aircraft Leasing Technical/Senior Technical Manager

Job Title: Aircraft Leasing Technical Manager / Senior Manager Location: Dublin, Ireland As a result of sustained growth, a leading global aircraft leasing company is seeking a highly skilled Technical Manager/Senior Manager to join their team. In this key role, reporting directly to the Head of Technical, you will take charge of pivotal projects such as aircraft redeliveries, maintenance programs, and fleet modifications. Responsibilities:

1. Take ownership of managing aircraft transition projects, encompassing planned and unplanned returns, repositioning, storage, upkeep, and fleet transactions such as purchases or disposals.
2. Lead aircraft modification initiatives, including conversions, managing supplier relationships, and negotiating agreements.
3. Coordinate with technical management organizations, aviation regulators, and compliance authorities to maintain readiness and conformity with all operational and legal standards.
4. Oversee both in-person and remote inspections, ensuring comprehensive reviews of documentation and compliance records.
5. Offer technical advice and support to client airlines, addressing claims related to maintenance reserves and operational discrepancies.
6. Drive innovation by identifying and implementing enhancements to processes and outcomes within the technical team’s operations.

1. At least 4 years of experience in the aviation technical field, with a minimum of 3 years in a leasing or similar role.
2. Strong project management skills and ability to handle multiple priorities effectively.
3. Familiarity with FAA and EASA regulations, including their application to aircraft transactions.
4. Experience drafting technical contract language for lease, sale, or purchase agreements.
5. Ideally, knowledge of GE90-100 series engines, including technical review and workscoping.
