Our client is hiring a Compliance Officer for their Dubai-based office for Leading Corporate Service Provider. The ideal candidate will be responsible for acting as a Second in command to the Senior Compliance Manager, supporting the team when necessary and providing training to others when needed. The role will ensure adherence to regulatory standards and industry best practices. This role will possess specialized knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience in the area of compliance, to use independent judgment in the performance of their duties and be capable of carrying out work with no guidance or supervision as per the set standards. Responsibilities:

  1. Monitor compliance with laws, regulations, and internal policies.
  2. Investigate irregularities and identify compliance and ES issues that require follow-up or investigation to be rectified; Compiling and validating the ES notifications/reports.
  3. Assisting the clients with their enquiries related to ESR; Monitor the ESR portal and verify notifications/ reports/ other information as submitted by licensees.
  4. Follow and monitor KYC, risk assessment, due diligence, policies around AML, ESR and UBO framework and processes.
  5. Follow proper compliance industry standards (Compliance Committee, delegation of authority, compliance commitment).
  6. File appropriate compliance and ES reports and report violations of compliance/ ES regulatory bodies and maintain regulatory or compliance documentation.
  7. Maintain details of all entities licensed by the organization from an ESR, UBO and AML perspective and monitor potential licensees under ESR along with compliances undertaken by them; Liaise and work with external consultants/service providers appointed for support on ESR and involve in creating awareness to Licensees on new developments as well as to create awareness internally.
  8. Perform other tasks as directed by the line manager as needed.
Requirements:
  • Experience in Corporate Services
  • ACAMS certification
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum 3-4 years of relevant experience
  • High proficiency and understanding of Microsoft Office
