RAK Academy Khuzam RAK Academy (Khuzam) provides both primary and secondary British and IB learning pathways from Pre-K to Grade 12 for 1650 international and local students. The Role The RAK Academy Khuzam school is looking for a positive, driven, and inspirational English teacher to join a large successful and vibrant English department . Design and Technology is taught in Grades 6 to 8 to all students. In Grades 9 and 10, Design and Technology is offered as an IGCSE subject option. In Grades 11 and 12, Design and Technology is offered as a subject option in both the A-Level and International Baccalaureate Diploma pathways. The school does not deliver food or textile-related courses. Essential

Bachelor’s degree in design and technology or a related degree (not food or textiles related).
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Excellent understanding of teaching and learning.
Highly proficient in the use of technology to support teaching and learning.
Engage, motivate, and support students.
Reflective practitioner with the ability to think creatively and innovate.
Positive and enthusiastic member of staff with a growth mindset.
Willing to be fully involved in extra-curricular activities.
Excellent communication skills.
Experience of teaching GCSE/IGCSE/A-Level courses (Early Career Teachers are welcome to apply).

Desirable

Experience of teaching Design and Technology for the IB Diploma.
Experience in art is an added advantage.
Experience of using Google suite, e.g., Google Classroom.
A proven record of increasing student outcomes.
