BMS Technician

Responsibilities:

1. Operate and monitor the utilities and facilities in plant room processes, including the line-up of Primary, Secondary, and Tertiary chilled water pumps.
2. Support the maintenance technicians in repairs and maintenance of BMS as directed by the supervisors.
3. Control and monitor the dosage of chemical injection into water-cooling circulation systems.
4. Provide input in the preparation of the work shift plan and leave schedule for all chillers plant Operations.
5. Log all central plant readings and daily activities in the main logbook of the all chillers plant Operations.
6. Actively involve with the BMS Plant control room team during evacuations/emergency situations, taking appropriate actions in accordance with fire and safety rules and regulations.
7. Conduct routine activities like checking plant readings, starting emergency generators, transferring, and topping up water and chemical tanks.
8. Support in maintaining records of work activities, including work in progress and completion.
9. Support the preparation of annual lists of spare parts, consumable materials, and special tools or test equipment.
10. Assist in the receipt of the new material and spare parts through on-site inspection of the delivered material.
11. Actively involved in the preparation of relevant daily and monthly reports, including reports during the commissioning of new projects, equipment failure reports, and incident/accident reports. Identify the reasons for failures.
12. Implement the changes for modification and improvement of the systems to ensure operational efficiency.
13. Onboard and train the contractors and apprentice. Ensure that the contractors are aware of safe working practices and take necessary precautions in the hazardous work environment.
14. Assist in filling the requirements of the CAFM system, the ISO 9001 Quality Management System, OHSAS 18001 Occupational Health & Safety Management System, and the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System requirements.
15. Perform other special duties and projects as needed in support of organizational goals.
