Public Relations Officer (PRO) experience in food and beverage industry preferred

Job details

Role: The PRO official will have a prominent role in building strong relationships with main governmental bodies while acting as ambassador for the company. The PRO Official will ensure successful implementation of PR functions and work closely with different parties to develop the company public presence. Responsibilities:

Process, submit and follow up all the company official relations/transactions with the government sectors.
Submit all renewals of visas & labor work permit cards with labor office as well as the immigration department.
Process all renewals of driving licenses & labor health cards with traffic office as well as the health department.
Renew official documents of the company (i.e. trade license, chamber of commerce, CR, traffic department, municipality, customs clearance, etc.).
Liaise with authorities to ensure Company compliance with local laws and regulations.
Process local amendments in coordination with the authorities.
Deal with government authorities in relation to the buying, selling, or leasing of land/property.
Process trade license renewals.
Keep updated on labor-related changes in relation to visa processing.
Support any legal issues in Company registrations.
Liaise with all government institutions regarding fines, penalties, or any inquiries.

Requirements:

Working knowledge of Qatar labor regulations and governmental authorities.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
Ability to build strong relationships.
Excellent communication and writing skills both in Arabic and English.
Extensive experience in Public Relations/Communications.
Attention to detail and acute organizational skills.
