Join our truly global IT Organization that collaborates seamlessly across North America, Europe, Asia, and Australia in a challenging, collaborative and a team-based environment.The Merchandise Operations Management Delivery team is responsible for modernization of Global Merchandise Financial systems, as well as our Pricing and Clearance Management systems. We achieve these goals by implementing off-the-shelf solutions (Oracle Retail), which drive the ability to support key finance processes and markdown strategies. Our business customers rely on the accuracy and integrity of the solutions we provide to manage our merchandise, pay our vendors correctly and in a timely fashion and ultimately report accurate data to Wall Street.Our team consists of over 50 Associates located across the globe, with plans to increase it now through expansion in our India office. Expanding TJX's presence in India will bring knowledge and expertise, local leadership and decision making, enabling us to deliver the right work, at the right time, in the right way. Over the next 12 months, our Indian presence will be the largest representation of the team in any global geography.Responsibilities:As an Engineering Manager for the MOM team, we are seeking a dynamic leader with a passion for delivering globally distributed, high-uptime applications and a strong commitment to growing talent. You will have a team of 7-12 members owning an application across multiple ongoing epics, recommending operational improvements and cohesive coding practices to ensure quality code that does not conflict from one effort to the next. This position requires a strong blend of technical expertise, retail domain knowledge and leadership capabilities. Your responsibilities will include:Technical Skills:Demonstrate strong technical capabilities by:Driving the technical vision for your domain, aligning it with overall business objectivesChampioning a strong engineering mindset, promoting agile methodologies, and driving continuous improvement.Strategically and tactically planning enhancements within the Oracle Retail MOM suite of products.Help Define and Overseeing adherence to the engineering process, ensuring direction and quality, aligning with organizational standards.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Management and Business stakeholders, to align technology initiatives with business goalsLeadership Skills:Demonstrate strong leadership capabilities by:Utilizing effective performance management skills, including coaching, goal setting, and accountability across multiple levels.Motivating and inspiring a global workgroup of Associates.Leading by example with a commitment to fostering an inclusive and collaborative team culture.Requirements:Minimum qualifications:At least 12+ years of IT experience5+ years of experience as a software engineer in modern application frameworks (Java, PL/SQL, Dev Ops, Prod Support etc.).5+ years of direct people management and leading technology delivery through others3+ years of experience in global retail technologyStrong team management and organizational skills, capable of leading, motivating, and directing a global workgroup.Proficiency in adherence to DevSecOps best practices and experience with Cloud Technologies.Proven track record of building and supporting scalable, high-performance applications.Strong experience with agile delivery models.Strong communication & presentation skillsPreferred Qualifications:SAFE Agile Certifications are a plus.Application Integration (REST, SOAP, Data Exchange, etc.) experience is a plus.Oracle Retail Merchandise Operations Management (MOM) on-prem/cloud experience is a plus.Exposure to a diverse portfolio of applications is a plus.
