Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Line Manager in the end-to-end recruitment process, which includes initial screening of CVs, shortlisting candidates for interviews, conducting tests, background checks (educational, employer & references), complete documentation, and before and after hiring formalities.
  • Headhunt Retail staff and collect their resumes from different sources to streamline the hiring procedure and timely fill vacant positions.
HR Operations:
  • Handle day-to-day HR operations functions and duties.
Employee Engagement:
  • Assist the Line Manager in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with employees through an environment that fosters communication and cooperation.
  • Coordinate employee recognition programs and events.
  • Properly handle complaints and grievances of employees and share them with the Line Manager on a regular basis.
  • Assist the Line Manager in all employee engagement activities required from time to time (Birthday celebrations, Picnics, Corporate dinners, and other team-building activities).
Others:
  • Work on special projects as assigned by the Line Manager or Management.
  • Liaise among different departments and complete any other tasks assigned by Management.
  • Prepare various internal HR reports as required from time to time.
  • Compile or gather data from different resources for analysis.

Job Specification

Job Specifications:
  • Education: MBA (HR) from a reputed business school.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience working in the human resources department, preferably in a financial institution in an HR Generalist role.
  • Complete knowledge of the recruitment cycle and ability to handle it independently in the absence of the Manager - HR & Admin.
  • Maintain confidentiality of the HR department at each level.
  • Result & target-oriented individual.
  • Good listener, polite & cooperative.
  • Organized, multi-tasking, and an active team member.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint).
