Estates Manager/Lead | Elderly Care Homes Scotland Remote with regular travel throughout Scotland Permanent £50,000 - £60,000 Summary Compass Corporate Services are delighted to partner with an ambitious elderly & social care provider who operate throughout Scotland. Together we are seeking an Estates Manager, a critical business hire who will be intrinsically important to their direction of travel for the foreseeable future. Overview As The Estates Manager you will have oversight of all aspects of the maintenance function throughout the groups entire estates portfolio, for both current and future properties. You will be responsible for the Health and Safety within the group, managing and planning of works and the execution of projects and supervising external contractors when required. You'll partner alongside the Home Managers, to co-ordinate, direct and monitor the maintenance personnel across the sites, ensuring that the homes are maintained to the highest standard always, whilst delivering all aspects of planned, reactive and recurring maintenance. This role is vital in creating and maintaining amazing, comfortable care homes where the residents love to live and the staff love to work. Responsibilities (Not limited to)​

• Develop and set the standards required from the maintenance service, ensuring a standardised approach on all processes, schedules, suppliers and documentation.
• Lead, mentor and motivate the onsite maintenance team to achieve a high service delivery across the homes.
• Operate consistently within the relevant legislation and statutory requirements

• A minimum of 5 years’ management experience of operations and maintenance in facilities or property services.
• Previous experience in a multi-site business.
• Experience within the care home sector
