Join Our Compliance / Audit Team as a Quality Auditor at Hallmark Luxury Care Homes! Position : Quality Auditor Location : Anywhere in the UK – with Flexibility to travel to all locations. Type : Permanent THIS ROLE CAN BE BASED FROM ANY LOCATION – THERE IS A REQUIREMENT TO TRAVEL TO ALL UK HALLMARK SITES TO PERFORM 3 DAY AUDITS ANNUALLY. To ensure that Hallmark Luxury Care Homes meets the expectations of health and social are regulator, i.e. CQC and CIW, through the delivery of a robust internal compliance and auditing function and the development of underpinning policies and strategies. To champion compliance with a hands-on approach to achieve our promise to exceed professional standards and provide high standards of care, which enable residents to enjoy life to the full, as individuals, in happy, comfortable and safe surroundings. Your Responsibilities:
- Using audit tools aligned with CQC/CIW KLOE’s, conduct internal compliance audits at our care homes including providing home managers findings and recommendations for improvements.
- Utilising an audit tool aligned with legislation and best practice, undertake a programme of H&S audits across the home.
- Conduct other quality assurance audits, as required.
- Provide high quality, timely audit outcomes and feedback to Operations and support the development of action plans to address areas for improvement.
- Support home managers with the development of their action plans.
- Monitor execution of action plans arising from clinical audits and issues.
- Working with the Head of Compliance, identify and record non-compliance trends, across regions and within the business.
- Assisting with the review and development of audit tools.
- Assist with the development of procedures and processes, in line with best practice.
- Promote a culture of openness, honesty and transparency around clinical governance matters through encouraging the sharing of practice and recognition of areas for improvement.
- Experience of Auditing and Assessing in a Health & Social Care regulatory role.
- Knowledge and understanding of Health and Social Care regulations.
- Experience of Inspecting and Auditing against those Regulations.
- Knowledge of Regulation applied by either the Care Quality Commission (CQC) OR the Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW)
- Candidate must be flexible to travel and stay overnight around the UK for days at a time to perform the audits. (Circa 20 locations per year – 3 days per audit)
- Must have a friendly and collaborative nature, working professionally and politely with internal key stakeholders.
