Paralegal - Real Estate / Corporate(M&A)

Our customer, a UK-based law firm is seeking Paralegals with experience in either Real Estate or Corporate (M&A) law for a permanent role to join thier legal team in Birmingham. The role will require a combination of office and remote work, with three days per week in the office in Birmingham. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with legal research, document preparation, and review for corporate (M&A) or real estate transactions.
• Support senior lawyers in the management of client matters, ensuring efficient progress and coordination of tasks.
• Draft and manage the preparation of standard legal documents and contracts related to real estate or corporate transactions.
• Maintain and organize case files, keeping them up to date and ensuring that all relevant documentation is correctly filed.
• Liaise with clients and other external parties to obtain necessary information and assist in the transaction process.
• Assist in the due diligence process, including the review of documents and preparing summaries.
• Provide general administrative and legal support to senior lawyers as required.
• Support the team with various legal and transactional tasks, ensuring deadlines are met and the highest quality of service is provided.

Key Requirements:

• 2-5 years of experience as a Paralegal, ideally within a private practice environment.
• Strong background in either Corporate (M&A) or Real Estate law, with hands-on experience in either area.
• Experience supporting senior lawyers with complex transactions.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining a high standard of work.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• A proactive and adaptable approach to problem-solving and client service.
