Back End Developer

Who we are Earth is a world leader in sustainable funeral care. Our mission is to provide the greenest deathcare options and the most seamless, supportive experience. We are passionate about tech and create modern solutions to industry wide problems. At our core we provide a novel carbon neutral funeral option (Soil Transformation). In addition to this we are working to reverse the impact of deforestation on our conservation land. What you'll do You will work in our software engineering team to:

• Develop and maintain server-side logic, APIs, and databases to ensure high performance and responsiveness.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and other teams to define and implement technical solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to best practices and coding standards.
• Optimise backend systems for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Debug and troubleshoot issues, identifying and addressing bottlenecks or potential system failures.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
• Contribute to technical documentation and architectural decision-making.

What we need from you Required skills

• Python (3+ years)
• Django
• RESTful API
