We are expanding our services to include the installation, training, and maintenance of cutting-edge dental technologies, including Vatech digital imaging systems and Asiga 3D printers. To achieve this, we are seeking a skilled and reliable Contract Dental Equipment Engineer to help deliver these essential services. Position Overview: We are looking for an experienced and self-motivated Dental Equipment Engineer to join our team on a contract basis. The successful candidate will handle the installation, user training, servicing, and repair of dental equipment as needed. This role is ideal for someone looking for flexible, project-based work. Key Responsibilities: • Equipment Installation: • Install and set up dental equipment, including Vatech digital imaging systems and Asiga 3D printers, ensuring proper functionality and compliance with manufacturer specifications. • Work with dental professionals to tailor installations to meet the specific needs of their practices. • User Training: • Provide thorough training for dental staff on the use and care of new equipment. • Develop and share user-friendly training materials to enhance confidence and safety. • Equipment Servicing and Maintenance: • Carry out routine servicing and emergency repairs on dental equipment. • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues to minimise downtime for clients. • Technical Support: • Offer on-site and remote support for clients as needed. • Maintain accurate records of all work completed for invoicing and client reference. Qualifications: • Proven experience in installing and maintaining dental equipment, preferably Vatech digital imaging systems and Asiga 3D printers. However full training will be given. • Strong technical troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently. • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to train and support dental professionals. • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to client locations. • Access to your own tools and equipment for servicing work. Preferred Skills: • Familiarity with dental workflows. • Experience with digital imaging and 3D printing technologies.
