Rachel’s Secret Garden Café, a beloved spot, accommodates 100 diners overlooking the 17 exhibition gardens. The entire retail and plant area is roofed, ensuring a delightful shopping experience year-round. We are seeking a passionate Café Assistant Manager to join Rachel’s Garden Café Team. - Welcome and serve customers with enthusiasm, providing exceptional service throughout their experience, with emphasis on the quality and presentation of food.
- Ensure that the café is cleaned, set up correctly, and maintained throughout the day.
- Efficiently operate the point-of-sale (POS) system to process till transactions accurately.
- Assist with stock replenishment in food counters and maintain organised displays.
- Adhere to Food Safety Regulations at all times.
- Performs all Assistant Manager duties, front and back of house functions including opening and closing procedures, coordinating with the Café Manager as necessary.
- Promotes and practices safe work habits, reporting potential safety hazards, operational inconsistencies, and customer / team member incidents to the Café Manager.
- 2 Years previous experience in a food service supervisory/assistant Manager role is essential.
- Confident in interacting with customers and offering product recommendations.
- Food Safety Training is desirable.
