To support this growth, we are looking for financial advisers to provide professional financial advice to individual customers and businesses on their financial needs. The role operates either a hybrid working model through a blend of face to face and remote advice tailored to the customer’s needs. We also have in-branch adviser roles in Bancassurance nation wide. The provision of financial advice is supported through the Irish Life financial advice process, with adherence to Irish Life compliance standards.

Key Accountabilities

1. Develop client relationships with new and existing customers across multiple sources of business.
2. Provide professional best advice in developing clear financial plans for new and existing clients while delivering superior customer satisfaction.
3. Establish and develop relationships with small and medium sized companies to offer financial advice within the company.
4. Conduct professional financial reviews with customers in person and over Microsoft Teams and recommend products in adherence to Irish Life compliance standards.
5. Work to agreed targets and standards.
6. Ensure compliance with Company policies, regulatory, professional and legal requirements.
7. Proactively protect, maintain and develop existing Client Bank.
8. Communicate complex financial matters to customers in layman terms.
9. Adhere to appropriate risk management procedures to control, monitor and report on business activities.
10. Keep up to date with all changes in the commercial environment and complete Continual Professional Development (CPD) on an ongoing basis.

Desired Knowledge / Experience / Skills

1. Significant experience providing financial advice to individuals and businesses with a proven track record of sales.
2. Experience in a customer facing role and be commercially aware.
3. Detailed knowledge and understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements of an Irish insurance company and the Central Bank.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with new and existing customers.
5. Possess QFA (have passed all ‘Qualified Financial Advisor’ exams) and be up to date on all CPD requirements.
6. Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
7. Competent in providing financial advice on retail products.
8. Ability to present a strong professional image of Irish Life.

Building and Maintaining Relationships Communication and Influencing Delivering Superior Customer Satisfaction Drive for Results Risk and Control Fitness & Probity This role is a ‘controlled function’ as defined by the Central Bank Reform Act 2010 Regulations 2011. Any appointment will be conditional on the company being satisfied that the appointee meets the requirements as set out in the Fitness and Probity standards issued by the Central Bank.
