AWS API Developer ( 4-6 )yrs

Location: Remote Job Type: Full-Time About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled AWS API Developer with experience in serverless architecture, API management, and cloud technologies. As a part of our dynamic development team, you will be responsible for building, deploying, and maintaining scalable API solutions using AWS services, including Lambda, API Gateway, and DynamoDB. • API Development: Design and implement serverless RESTful APIs using AWS Lambda, Amazon API Gateway, Node.js, and TypeScript.
• Integration: Leverage Amazon SQS, EventBridge, and other AWS services for seamless event-driven architecture and data flow management.
• Database Management: Work with cloud-native databases like DynamoDB, Postgres, and Neptune to ensure efficient data handling.
• Serverless Architecture: Build infrastructure as code using AWS CDK and deploy applications with a focus on scalability and resilience.
• CI/CD Pipeline: Collaborate with DevOps teams to build, automate, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deploy code efficiently.
• Cloud Security: Ensure secure and efficient API access by implementing best practices for security, including Azure AD integration and role-based access.
• Monitoring and Performance: Utilize cloud monitoring tools like Datadog, Splunk, and Elasticsearch to track the health and performance of applications.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, front-end developers, and other backend engineers to ensure smooth API integrations.

• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in software development (flexible depending on seniority).
• Proficiency in TypeScript, Node.js, and developing serverless applications with AWS Lambda and Amazon API Gateway.
• Strong experience with AWS CDK, Amazon SQS, EventBridge, and other AWS services.
• Familiarity with database technologies such as DynamoDB, Postgres, and Neptune.
• Experience in API management with tools like Apigee X for building, deploying, and managing APIs.
• Strong knowledge of RESTful API design and development.
• Familiarity with version control using GitHub and experience managing workflows.
• Familiarity with Azure AD for identity and access management.
• Understanding of Cloud Security best practices.

• Experience with CI/CD and DevOps tools and pipelines for automated testing, build, and deployment.
• Experience with monitoring tools like Datadog, Splunk, and Elasticsearch to track application performance.
• Knowledge of SpringBoot, Rust, or other programming languages for backend development.
• Experience with event-driven architectures and event brokers like EventBridge.
