The position of Account Executive is a critical role within our organisation. - Client Acquisition:
- You’ll identify and target new clients within the assigned industry vertical. Establish strong relationships and secure new business opportunities.
- Sales Pipeline Management:
- Opportunity Identification: Win and manage sales opportunities to develop a robust pipeline with both new and existing clients.
- Capture Plans: Create and maintain capture plans for target clients and opportunities.
- Account Plans: Develop detailed account plans for assigned clients.
- Market Exploration:
- Prospecting: Actively search for new clients and services within the assigned vertical industries, aligned with client segmentation plans.
- RFP, Bid Management: Explore new opportunities, support both RFP and Bid responses.
- Relationship Management: Effectively manage prospect and existing client relationships to ensure continuous business development.
- Sales Strategies:
- Consultative/Problem/Value/Needs-Based Selling: Develop and promote strategies to sell solutions to clients, focusing on their specific needs.
- Cross-Selling: Leverage Expleo Services, including consultancy, training solutions, and third-party tools.
- Operational Excellence:
- Data Accuracy: Ensure relevant systems are updated with accurate and timely information.
- Contractual and Commercial Cover: Verify that all client engagements have appropriate contractual and commercial terms.
- Work in Progress: Own and manage the status of all accounts.
- Qualification and Forecasting:
- Opportunity Qualification: Rigorously qualify all opportunities against target criteria.
- Value Propositions: Actively promote value propositions to the agreed client base.
- Sales Forecasts: Maintain accurate pipeline and sales forecasts.
- Strategic Contributions:
- Thought Leadership: Contribute to Expleo’s thought leadership and innovation initiatives through market trend analysis.
- Collaboration: Work across Expleo functions to develop new service lines and bundled solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
- Additional course or certification in Sales
- MBA or equivalent experience
- Management certification or qualification
Experience
To be a successful salesperson at Expleo, selling complex solutions and technical services into the right verticals, you’ll need a combination of skills and experience. Here are some key aspects to focus on:- Technical Acumen:
- Understand the intricacies of the solutions and services you’re selling. Familiarize yourself with the technical aspects, benefits, and use cases.
- Be able to explain complex concepts in simple terms to potential clients with varying technical backgrounds.
- Industry Knowledge:
- Deeply understand the verticals you’re targeting (e.g., energy, financial services, public sector, etc.).
- Stay informed about industry trends, challenges, and emerging technologies.
- Sales Experience:
- 8 - 10 years relevant experience
- Consistent track record of exceeding sales targets, closing significant deals, and securing major accounts within one or two of our specialist sectors/verticals.
- Expertise in selling Professional Services and Technical Solutions with at least one of our sectors.
