Excel Recruitment is delighted to partner with a dynamic and fast-growing main contractor in the construction industry to recruit an experienced Document Controller . Based in Galway, this is a hybrid role offering a mix of office-based and remote working.
Responsibilities for Document Controller:
- Manage the document control process, ensuring all project documentation is stored, updated, and distributed efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with internal and external standards.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure all documents are current and easily accessible.
- Monitor document workflows, ensuring timely updates and distribution to stakeholders.
- Liaise with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to coordinate document submissions and approvals.
- Assist with creating, reviewing, and editing project documentation as needed.
- Support project teams with administrative tasks related to document management.
- Ensure strict adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.
Requirements for Document Controller:
- 2–3 years of experience in a similar Document Controller role, ideally within the construction industry.
- Proficiency with document management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organisational and multitasking skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with teams and stakeholders.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
