Production Planner

We are seeking to recruit a Production Planner to provide development, scoping, and implementation of effective production planning. The key areas of responsibility are to supervise and contribute to the formulation and timing of airframe maintenance visits alongside monitoring production performance. The ideal candidate will work closely and successfully with the forward planning CAMO, Material and Production team members on short to medium planning tasks, whilst under the guidance of the Director of Maintenance and the MOE. This role reports to the Director of Maintenance. Responsibilities:
- Provide development, scoping, implementation of effective production planning.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory/legislative requirements.
- Actively ensure the safety and security of systems, and procedures engaged in or associated with own area of responsibility or otherwise under own control or influence.
- Manage internal relationship with production staff and forward planning CAMO.
- Work closely with the forward planning CAMO and the Materials team on short to medium planning tasks to reduce cost of maintenance to Texel Air.
- Provide guidance and coaching to employees and reinforce high standards with regard to performance, safety, and regulatory paperwork standards.
- Direct and plan aircraft maintenance activities in accordance with regulatory, customer, and production requirements.
- Support the ongoing commercial viability of the business.

- Develop and write WI for the accomplishment of complex and/or critical maintenance tasks.
- Work scope large tasks and provide production a comprehensive work scope package.
- Generate work packs as per the EASA/ANTR requirements including all relevant source data.
- Review tasks required for conflicts across the CAMO and 145, check ability to accomplish within the set time of due dates, raise risk profile or potential future maintenance difficulties and compliances.
- Be involved in determining aircraft downtime for maintenance visits.
- Co-ordinate the accomplishment of aircraft modification programmes between business units.
- Act as a conduit for engineering queries and issues between CAMO and 145.
- Ensure EASA and ANTR 145 production planning requirements are met.
- Check to ensure all the planned maintenance is correctly scheduled and complied with, within the scheduled project.
- Supervise and provide guidance for projects.
- Review Work in Progress, monitor work package and cost related to man hours and materials.
- Proven leadership skills.
- Innovative and logical problem-solving skill and the ability to operate in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
- Proven experience of establishing effective relationships and leading cross-functional teams to meet planned results.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
