Summary: • Middle Office operations expert with experience in derivatives trade support, front to back margin & collateral management, and accurate pricing for complex instruments (incl. Total Return Swaps, Interest Rate Swaps, Credit Default Swaps, Exotic Options, Swaptions). • This role requires a deep understanding of Derivatives operations, trade life cycle management, and the mechanics of financial instruments. Key Responsibilities:
- Derivatives Trade Management: Capture, Process, Affirm, Match and settle Derivative instruments utilizing a detailed understanding of the product life cycles and covering a range of Derivatives products which include: Total Return Swaps, Interest Rate Swaps, Credit Default Swaps, Exotic Options, Swaptions.
- Understanding the full life cycle of trades, including novation's, unwinds, early and partial terminals, coupons, fees, resets, substitutions, and dividends.
- Resolve complex reconciliations and investigations in a timely manner to adhere to global cut off times.
- Up-to-date knowledge of systems, processes, legal structures, and exception process requirements.
- Collateral & Margin Management: Manage the front to back processes related to Collateral and Margin Management, including margin breaks and dispute resolution.
- Understand the process for calculating, posting, and settling initial and variation margin.
- Understanding of relevant legal agreements (inc. CSAs, ECS, ACAs, GMRAs).
- Understanding of different collateral management setups, services and vendors, including Acadia, Triparty Agents & TriOptima.
- Complex Instruments Pricing: Ability to value multiple complex instruments, in accordance with internal valuation policies.
- Maintain and update valuation models and methodologies & conduct regular fair value assessments.
