Environmental Consultant Job location - OMAN We are seeking a dedicated Environmental Consultant to join our team in Muscat, Oman. This role involves leveraging your environmental expertise and leadership skills to deliver high-quality projects and support the growth across diverse sectors. You will engage with clients, senior executives, and front-line employees to implement effective environmental solutions.
Key Qualifications & Responsibilities:
- Bachelor’s degree (preferably western educated) in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Environmental Management, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience with leading international environmental consulting firms.
- Expertise in environmental and social impact assessments (ESIA), E&S constraints screening, E&S due diligence, audits, compliance reporting, IFC Performance Standards and World Bank EHS Guidelines.
- Proficient English communication skills (written and verbal).
- Strong project management skills including budgeting, resource allocation, and operations management.
- In-depth knowledge of environmental regulations and legislation.
- Proactive and adaptable, with a willingness to explore new areas of expertise.
- Strong strategic thinking, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently or collaboratively to deliver high-quality outputs.
- Skilled in simplifying complex concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to manage tasks efficiently and delegate when necessary.
- Develop and maintain client relationships to ensure repeat business.
- Contribute to business development by preparing proposals and identifying cross-selling opportunities.
Experience:
- ESIA reporting: 3 years (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Env Engineering OR Env Science OR Env Mangt (Preferred)
