Our diverse community values excellence, collaboration, and innovation in education. Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Elementary School Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will be passionate about teaching and capable of delivering engaging and effective lessons to elementary students from diverse cultural backgrounds. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the academic and personal growth of our students in a supportive and enriching environment. Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the diverse learning needs of elementary students.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning and personal growth.
- Implement a differentiated instructional approach to accommodate varying levels of academic abilities and learning styles.
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods, resources, and technology to enhance student engagement and understanding.
- Assess student progress regularly through formative and summative assessments and provide constructive feedback to students and parents.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and other stakeholders to support the overall development and well-being of students.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay abreast of best practices in education and pedagogy.
- Foster a sense of global citizenship and cultural awareness among students through curriculum integration and extracurricular activities.
- Uphold school policies and procedures and contribute to a positive school culture.
- Bachelor's degree in Education OR degree in another field with PGCE.
- Teaching certification/license from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in an elementary school setting, preferably in an international school environment.
- Familiarity with international curricula (e.g., IB, British, American) is advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Flexibility, adaptability, and a commitment to continuous professional growth.
- Fluency in English; additional language proficiency is a plus.
- Experience with integrating technology into teaching and learning.
