WSP in the Middle East is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Marketing Campaigns Lead to join our Corporate Marketing and Communications (Marcoms) department. The role will focus on developing and executing marketing strategies that align with the business strategic objectives. The role requires a significant level of experience in project managing and delivering audience-driven campaigns using various communications channels to achieve business goals. You will be responsible for developing and executing marketing campaigns and strategies, positioning the company brand positively in the minds of stakeholders, in line with its strategic objectives. There will be occasional travel to some of our key Middle East office locations. Your new role, what's involved?
- Developing the annual marketing plan in collaboration with the business and wider marketing communications team.
- Conducting desk research when required for campaign development and audience analysis.
- Responsibility for developing and delivering multi-channel marketing campaigns for internal and external audiences, working collaboratively across the team. Campaign management will involve an ability to identify and understand audience needs, as well as an ability to determine relevant and engaging ways to communicate with these audiences.
- Contributing to the agreed annual cross-cutting business themes and corporate brand activity.
- Set objectives and metrics for marketing campaigns that connect to, and help the company achieve, relevant business goals.
- Developing and delivering creative campaign tactics that are integrated across all fields of marketing and communications, including media relations, social media, live events, employee communications, government relations and advertising.
- Driving, managing and delivering clear and compelling content for internal and external audiences to support the campaign objectives, including but not limited to articles, visuals, blogs, awards entries, infographics and film content.
- Working collaboratively across the team to develop and deliver an industry-leading programme of targeted, externally focused, issue and expertise-led content.
- Supporting the Key Account Management team with campaigns and messaging to key clients throughout the year.
- Putting marketing communications plans in place for major project openings, working with internal and external stakeholders and collaborators.
- Developing a deep understanding of the business, projects and clients and collaborating with the other marketing strategic business unit leads to collaborate on campaigns and initiatives.
- Building relationships across the business and changing the perception of what good marketing is and the value marketing can add.
- Leading meetings with key internal stakeholders to identify new and emerging topics and ideas, and to build a network to enable a flow of communications.
- Collaborating with the Strategic Growth Team on business development and the sales cycle where there are obvious marketing touch points.
- Bachelors in marketing or related fields.
- 10 years’ experience in Marketing.
- Proven experience in the Middle East region and understanding of the local cultures.
- Experience of developing and delivering marketing communications campaigns.
- Experience in video production and writing engaging communications.
- Experience of appointing and managing agencies to deliver design, video content and photography.
- Extensive knowledge of the marketing communications processes and channels.
- An understanding of how digital tools (such as email marketing, website and social media) are used as part of the marketing communications mix.
- Confidence when working with executive level business leaders.
- Ability to challenge and push back in a constructive way.
- Experience managing multiple projects.
- Experience as a talented communicator (written and verbal).
- Someone who is comfortable working in a fast-paced, busy team with multiple deadlines.
- Someone who can confidently lead marketing for the business and present opportunities and ideas to them that will generate value outcomes.
- Understand the implications of GDPR on marketing and be an advocate of best practice helping the business be compliant.
