Zapegg Tax Consultant is a trusted name in providing exceptional tax and financial solutions. We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our Dubai office. This role is integral to ensuring the accuracy of financial records and compliance with local regulations while contributing to the company's success. Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Management: Prepare, examine, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
- Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions and ensure proper ledger entries.
- Tax Preparation: Assist in preparing and filing VAT returns and other tax-related documents as per UAE regulations.
- Budgeting: Support the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial planning reports.
- Reconciliations: Perform regular bank, account, and ledger reconciliations to maintain financial accuracy.
- Audit Support: Collaborate with auditors during internal and external audits, providing required documentation.
- Accounts Payable/Receivable: Monitor and manage invoicing, collections, and vendor payments.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to local financial laws, accounting standards, and company policies.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounting or a similar role.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting; proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Tally, or similar platforms; familiarity with UAE tax regulations, including VAT compliance; excellent analytical, organizational, and time-management skills; strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Certifications: Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or CMA are an advantage.
