Position is based in "Liwa, Abu Dhabi"

Responsibilities:

  1. Register guests and assign rooms
  2. Accommodate special requests whenever needed/possible
  3. Assist in pre-registration and blocking of rooms for reservations
  4. Adhere to proper credit, check-cashing, and cash handling policies and procedures
  5. Ensure the collection and registration of all guests staying at the property
  6. Ensure a full payment covering room charges/incidentals is secured for all staying guests
  7. Report any guest feedback in the Glitch Management Report
  8. Follow up departures in a timely manner
  9. Follow up with the Housekeeping Team on room preparations
  10. Know room locations, types of rooms available, and room rates
  11. Present options and alternatives to guests and offer assistance in making choices
  12. Able to sell rooms and promote other services of the hotel (Guest Activities Promotions and bookings)
  13. Aware of the activities and services of the property
  14. Coordinate room status updates with the housekeeping department by notifying them of all checkouts, late checkouts, early check-ins, special requests, and day use rooms
  15. Process guest check-in and check-out
  16. Perform cashier related functions/cashier tasks like posting charges to guest accounts, raising paid outs, currency exchange, bill/invoice settlement
  17. Coordinate requests for maintenance and repair work
  18. Use proper telephone etiquette
  19. Advise guests of any messages, mail, faxes, parcels, etc. received for them
  20. Inform guests of the room safe, minibar, and room functions
  21. Communicate services and amenities of the hotel to guests
  22. Direct Bell Attendants to escort guests and assist with luggage from and into the room
  23. Aware of the notice board daily for activities and events taking place in the hotel
  24. Aware of the operational House Status of the Hotel (Arrivals, Departure, In-house, VVIP, People with Determination, Occupancy)
  25. Know all safety and emergency procedures; be aware of accident prevention policies
  26. Maintain the cleanliness and neatness of the front desk area
  27. Perform any other work as assigned by the management
  28. Monitor Front Office stationary supplies and equipment functions
  29. Maintain cash float complete at all times

AED2,500.00 - AED3,000.00 per month

Education:

  • Diploma (Preferred)

Experience:

  • 4-5 Star Hotel: 4 years (Required)
  • Hospitality: 4 years (Preferred)
  • Hotel Receptionist: 3 years (Required)

Language:

  • English (Required)
  • Arabic (Preferred)
