Position is based in "Liwa, Abu Dhabi"

Responsibilities:

Register guests and assign rooms
Accommodate special requests whenever needed/possible
Assist in pre-registration and blocking of rooms for reservations
Adhere to proper credit, check-cashing, and cash handling policies and procedures
Ensure the collection and registration of all guests staying at the property
Ensure a full payment covering room charges/incidentals is secured for all staying guests
Report any guest feedback in the Glitch Management Report
Follow up departures in a timely manner
Follow up with the Housekeeping Team on room preparations
Know room locations, types of rooms available, and room rates
Present options and alternatives to guests and offer assistance in making choices
Able to sell rooms and promote other services of the hotel (Guest Activities Promotions and bookings)
Aware of the activities and services of the property
Coordinate room status updates with the housekeeping department by notifying them of all checkouts, late checkouts, early check-ins, special requests, and day use rooms
Process guest check-in and check-out
Perform cashier related functions/cashier tasks like posting charges to guest accounts, raising paid outs, currency exchange, bill/invoice settlement
Coordinate requests for maintenance and repair work
Use proper telephone etiquette
Advise guests of any messages, mail, faxes, parcels, etc. received for them
Inform guests of the room safe, minibar, and room functions
Communicate services and amenities of the hotel to guests
Direct Bell Attendants to escort guests and assist with luggage from and into the room
Aware of the notice board daily for activities and events taking place in the hotel
Aware of the operational House Status of the Hotel (Arrivals, Departure, In-house, VVIP, People with Determination, Occupancy)
Know all safety and emergency procedures; be aware of accident prevention policies
Maintain the cleanliness and neatness of the front desk area
Perform any other work as assigned by the management
Monitor Front Office stationary supplies and equipment functions
Maintain cash float complete at all times

AED2,500.00 - AED3,000.00 per month

Education:

Diploma (Preferred)

Experience:

4-5 Star Hotel: 4 years (Required)
Hospitality: 4 years (Preferred)
Hotel Receptionist: 3 years (Required)

Language:

English (Required)
Arabic (Preferred)
