Archibat HR is seeking a Head of Acoustics for a Leading Design and Construction company focussed on education projects, to be based in their Dubai Headquarters.Main responsibilities:Lead/ set up the integration of acoustic comfort thinking into our school design/planning/conceptLead the general training and awareness of acoustical engineering and comfort in design of schools and spacesDeliver acoustic consultancy services as part of our broader design consultancy offering (either when we are the main consultant or acting as a sub consultant).Work with the furniture team to develop a range of acoustic furniture and develop the marketing story of the range and each piece of furniture.Work with marketing and sales and the lead architectural team to enhance the awareness and importance of acoustical comfort in schools and learnings spaces (client presentations, materials, conferences, talks etc. etc.).Work with Design team to integrate acoustical comfort and design into school renovation projects.Develop our range/specification of in-house acoustical finishes for our projects.Possess the relevant technical capability, creativity and spirit.Qualifications & Certifications:Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Acoustics, Industrial Design, Product Design, or related fields.Experience: Minimum of 10 years' experience in the acoustic solutions or soundproofing industry, with a focus on product design and manufacturing.Leadership: Proven experience leading design teams and developing successful acoustic products.Technical Skills: Expertise in AutoCAD, Rhino, SolidWorks, and acoustic simulation tools.Certifications: Relevant industry certifications in sustainability and soundproofing standards are a plus.Client Management: Strong ability to manage client relationships and deliver complex projects.Global Exposure: Experience working with international clients, especially in the Middle East, is an advantage.
