The Corporate Development and Strategy Analyst will play a key role in supporting the company's growth strategy through mergers & acquisitions, partnerships, and other strategic initiatives. This position involves conducting in-depth financial analysis, market research, and due diligence to identify and evaluate potential opportunities. The ideal candidate will be analytical, detail-oriented, and possess strong communication skills.Key Responsibilities:Market Research: Carry out research on selected markets and investment opportunities in line with the investment strategy.Financial Analysis: Support the Corporate Development and Strategy Manager in preparation of financial models and valuation analyses to assess the viability of potential investments, including DCF, comparables, and precedent transactions.Due Diligence: Support the Corporate Development and Strategy Manager on due diligence processes, gathering and analyzing data to assess risks and opportunities associated with potential transactions, in line with the investment criteria.Reporting: Support the Corporate Development and Strategy Manager and Corporate Development Director in the preparation of investment reports and presentations.Strategic Planning: Assist in the development of long-term strategic plans, contributing insights and analyses to guide decision-making.Competitive Analysis: Assist in the monitoring of competitors and industry developments to inform strategic positioning and identify potential partnership or acquisition targets.Project Management: Support the management of various corporate development projects, ensuring timely execution and adherence to objectives.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Engineering, or a related field from a reputable university/business school; Master's degree or MBA preferred.2-3 years of experience in management consulting, transaction services, investment banking, or private equity with experience of working on strategic projects and/or transactions.Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, with proficiency in Excel and PPT.Excellent research skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear and actionable insights.Strong communication and presentation skills.Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work.
