Join a customer-focussed retail business operating with 10,000+ employees across Australia Hybrid working environment, based in Sydney CBD 4 days a week Fast paced environment, a range of projects from system roll out, new stores and business process improvements You will be working for one of Australia's largest food retailers, offering a well-loved product in Australia, continuously improving their service and products through smart utilisation of technology and a customer-focused growth mindset.You’ll play a key role within the business, working on projects across the entire business including Technology, Business Projects, and Process Improvements. One day you could be assisting the project management team in identifying new systems for their franchises and rolling out new systems to improve service, and the next project looking at process improvement into opening new stores, hiring staff, and much more.You will join their fast-paced environment, self-aware with a self-driven attitude able to deliver in ambiguity, know how to relate to the business requirements and how to collaborate with relevant roles.In this role, you will: Analyse, document, and translate business needs into effective solutions. Translate and define solution requirements into high-quality user stories. Use iterative design principles to break down Epics and write user stories that deliver incremental value and communicate the technical and business impacts of solution delivery. Facilitate and collaborate in problem solving and decision-making activities across the working group. Plan and create artefacts to support BAU Product and Service Management. Ideally, you will come with: Strong demonstrable business acumen, excellent communication, and technical know-how that will help drive success. You’re as comfortable facilitating sessions with stakeholders as well as working in ambiguity with new projects you may never have tackled. Able to narrow in on the data and the detail and widen to see the bigger picture. Own the strategy and skills to take an idea from inception to delivery. Varied background, able to work on both technology and business projects. Similar industry experience is highly desirable but not mandatory, such as Retail, multi-store/franchise model, QSR (quick-service restaurant), or similar. Appreciation for Technology, understanding of how software is built, in order to translate concepts into clear and understandable requirements. Demonstrated experience delivering within innovative and large-scale projects. Excellent communication and facilitation skills, can collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders alike. What's in it for you?
