This is a full-time hybrid role for a Principal Software Engineer at CareLoop Health with flexibility for remote work. The Principal Software Engineer will be responsible for back-end and front-end web and mobile development with the opportunity to work on greenfield projects. Skills and Knowledge Essential

  • 5+ years’ experience in software engineering
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies
  • Back-end and front-end development skills
  • Strong Java, React and React Native skills
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
  • Ability to design scalable and maintainable systems with experience of a range of enterprise stack solutions
  • Experience with relational databases e.g. MySQL
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Desirable
  • Experience with AWS
  • Experience with Agile tools – e.g. JIRA and Confluence
  • Experience working with sensitive health data
  • Experience of working with Software as a Medical Device (SaMD)
  • Bachelor's in Computer Science or relevant field

  • Annual salary £70,000(FTE) depending on experience; 0.8FTE role considered for the right candidate
