The Role An exceptional opportunity has emerged for an accomplished Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join a well-established and highly respected organisation in the wealth advisory sector. As CFO, you will work closely with the CEO and executive leadership team, providing financial oversight and strategic support across the organisation and its portfolio of subsidiaries. This is a hands-on, all-encompassing role requiring strong technical expertise, commercial acumen, and a proactive approach to financial management and reporting. You will take full responsibility for financial reporting, compliance, budgeting, and cash flow management while leading and mentoring a high-performing finance team. This role offers a unique blend of strategic leadership and technical responsibility , allowing you to influence business decisions and processes directly. About You We are seeking a proven CFO / financial leader with a track record of success in financial services/financial sectors or similar environments. You will possess exceptional technical skills, strong commercial awareness, and the ability to navigate the complexities of a dynamic and expanding organisation. Key Criteria : A minimum of 15+ years’ accounting and financial leadership experience in the Financial Services Industry. Permanent residency in Australia Proven success in a CFO or senior finance executive role within Financial Services. Expertise in consolidations (proportional and statutory), cash flow management, and advanced financial modelling. M&A exposure, particularly in due diligence and deal structuring . A hands-on, proactive approach with the ability to mentor and manage teams. Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills. Strong technical accounting background and the ability to deliver timely, accurate reporting.
