Position Overview: The Manager - Finance & Accounts will assist the CFO & CA in overseeing all financial operations, direct corporate financial planning and structure, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. This role involves leading a team including a Deputy Manager, Assistant Manager and Associates, and encompasses responsibility for risk management, compliance, and financial reporting. Role: Manager, Finance & Accounts Vacancy: 1 Location: Mumbai, India Salary CTC approx.: The CTC offered range will be between 9 LPA to 13 LPA fixed, plus an up to 20% variable component linked to your annual performance. The CTC offered will be dependent on your performance in the interview and relevant experience & skill set. This is non-negotiable. Please participate only if you are comfortable with this CTC range. Deadline for Applications: 27th January 2025 Experience: Minimum of 6 years in accounting and finance, with a minimum of 2 years in a managerial role EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION: - Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field (essential) Master's degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred). Professional Certifications such as Chartered Accountant (CA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or equivalent (preferred). SKILLS: -

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations and auditing standards.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in financial software and MS Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with regulatory authorities, stakeholders and various auditors of the Foundation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Financial Operations and Planning:
  • Oversee all financial operations and direct corporate financial planning and structure.
  • Coordinate, analyze, and report financial performance to management and the board of directors.
  • Prepare forecasts and financial projections to support strategic decision-making.
2. Financial Controls and Compliance:
  • Develop and manage financial controls in accordance with the company’s procedures GAAP standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards applicable to Section 8 companies.
  • Implement audit recommendations and maintain an effective control environment.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
3. Financial Reporting:
  • Review and monitor all NGO project finances, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Prepare financial reports for donors and stakeholders.
  • Communicate financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
4.Grant Management:
  • Ensure that grants are managed in accordance with the budgeting, reporting, donor requirements and organizational policies.
  • Ensure funds are used effectively and in line with donor agreements and regulations.
5. Risk Management:
  • Identify financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor effective internal controls to safeguard assets.
6. Team Management:
  • Lead and manage the finance and accounts team, including the Deputy Manager, Assistant Manager, and Associates.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide guidance and support to team members.
7.Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:
  • Collaborate with project managers, department heads, and external partners.
  • Build and maintain relationships with donors, auditors, and regulatory bodies.
  • Ensure effective communication and collaboration across departments and with external stakeholders.
8. Financial Analysis and Insights:
  • Evaluate the financial performance of projects and provide actionable insights.
  • Conduct financial analysis to support strategic initiatives and operational efficiency.
9. Accountability:
  • Accountable for the accuracy and integrity of financial records and reports.
  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards.
  • Responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory and donor requirements.
  • Accountable for the effective management of financial risks and internal controls.
  • Responsible for the professional development and performance of the finance and accounts team.
