As an Intake Screener, you’ll be the first point of contact for potential healthcare customers, playing a crucial role in our client’s lead qualification process. You’ll handle inbound calls generated from targeted online advertisements, using your excellent communication skills to pre-qualify leads efficiently and effectively. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in people’s lives while developing your customer service and sales skills in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.Responsibilities
- Answer inbound calls promptly and professionally, representing our client’s brand with enthusiasm and expertise
- Follow a carefully crafted script to pre-qualify leads efficiently, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for every caller
- Conduct warm transfers of qualified leads to healthcare agencies, maintaining a seamless transition and setting the stage for successful conversions
- Maintain a friendly, empathetic, and professional demeanor throughout all calls, even in challenging situations
- Adhere strictly to HIPAA compliance standards, safeguarding sensitive health information at all times
- Collaborate with team members to share best practices and continuously improve our qualification process
- Participate in regular training sessions to enhance your skills and stay updated on healthcare industry trends
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills in English, with a clear and friendly phone manner
- Proven experience in customer service and sales roles, preferably in a call center environment
- Demonstrated ability to follow scripts while maintaining a natural conversation flow
- Basic understanding of healthcare terminology and the ability to learn quickly
- Proficiency in using CRM systems and call center software
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work full-time hours, typically from 9:30 AM to 6:00 or 7:00 PM Eastern Time
- High school diploma required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA regulations
- Ability to meet or exceed performance metrics, including handling 20-30 inbound calls per day and achieving target qualification rates
