Doha Marketing Services Company W.L.L. (DOMASCO), an overseas joint venture of the reputable UAE-based Al Futtaim Group, has been operating business in Qatar for 18 years and has sole distribution of Honda and Volvo cars and trucks, as well as reputed brands of watches and electronics such as Raymond Weil, Casio, Sanyo, Aftron, and Godrej in the country. We have an excellent opportunity for someone with good telephone communication skills to become integrated into one of the region's leading private businesses in Qatar. Responsibilities:
- Handle all incoming telephone communications, noting reasons for calls and forwarding to relevant team members, subject to availability.
- Provide excellent customer service as per company policy and procedures.
- Resolve customer queries promptly, within company guidelines, before escalating to a higher level if necessary.
- Attend to customer needs, understand their requirements so that the maximum number of enquiries are handled quickly and forwarded on responsibly.
- Log calls (including time, date, and caller details).
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of personnel and procedures.
- Offer support to fellow team members where necessary.
- Excellent communication skills; preferably bilingual (Arabic & English).
- Previous Reception/Call Centre/Telephone Operator experience desirable.
- Courteous, polite telephone manner.
- Proactive, hardworking, motivated approach.
- A basic understanding of IT systems would be advantageous.
