SENIOR QUANTITY SURVEYOR - RAILMETRO EXPERIENCED

AtkinsRalis is looking for Senior Quantity Surveyor (Rail Project in GCC). All positions will be subject to Clients approval. Job Overview Key Responsibilities: Precontract:

1. Cost Planning and estimating (BCIS and NRM1).
2. Value Engineering, cash flow forecasts, Whole Life Costing, risk management.
3. Bills of Quantities production (POMI and CESSM3).
4. Tender services including compilation, tender analysis, negotiations, and recommendations.
5. Contract drafting (FIDIC).

Post contract:

1. Management of bonds, insurances, and guarantee logs.
2. Interim valuations and payment certificates.
3. Variations analysis, recommendations, and management.
4. Risk and value management and cost control functions.
5. Costs analysis project work.
6. Identifying, analyzing, and developing responses to commercial risks.
7. Preparation of progress/cost reports.
8. Reporting to Associate Director on all commercial issues.
9. Understanding the implications of health and safety regulations.
10. Attendance and representation at commercial meetings.

Experiences and Qualifications:

1. MRICS or APC candidate who anticipates completing chartership in the specified time period.
2. Experience in one of the following key sectors: mixed-use building infra from Procurement Background.
3. Degree in Quantity Surveying from a recognized UK university.
4. Minimum of 10 years experience.
5. Minimum of 5 years UAE/international experience.
6. Railway or metro experience will be advantageous.
7. Must have consultant and/or client background for a minimum of 3 years.
8. Knowledge in the use of QS software Cost X or similar is required.
9. Demonstrate strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills.
10. Possess good project background and proven English language technical writing ability and skills.
