Digital Communications Manager

My client is a logistics company with a wealth of experience dealing with full supply chain solutions across various extreme locations in the world. Reporting to the Group Head of Marketing & Communications based in Dubai, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive digital marketing and internal communications support to the group. Key Responsibilities:
- The development, implementation, and continuous improvement of group-wide digital and internal communications strategies and plans to ensure regular, timely, and relevant flow of information throughout the organization, in support of leadership goals and improved employee engagement; writing content will be a large part of this role.
- Establishment and ongoing management of communications channels, including but not limited to: employee magazine, e-newsletters, events, intranet, cascade briefings, town halls, social media platforms, etc.
- Take ownership of the intranet and develop this as a key channel for communication, including design, content management, and copy.
- Oversee and manage all digital communication channels including but not limited to the corporate website and social media activities.
- Working closely with other departments, provide strategic counsel, and develop plans to communicate specific internal initiatives within a structured and coherent framework.
- Develop and manage internal crisis communication plans in sync with external crisis communication planning.
- Manage the Corporate Social Responsibility program and preparation of the annual CSR report.
- Responsible for digital direction, design, production, and distribution of all internal communications collateral.
- Manage all external agency relationships as well as key media contacts.
- 10 years of experience within a marketing or communication role, of which a minimum of five years experience in a dedicated digital internal communications post within an international organization.
- Experience implementing and working with IT systems and content management systems.
- Excellent copywriting skills.
- Fluent in English written and oral communication.
- Excellent networking and relationship skills.
- Must be prepared to travel to remote locations as required.
