- Lead mechanical design efforts, ensuring product performance, safety, and manufacturability.
- Manage and mentor a small team, driving new product development (NPD) projects.
- Conduct design reviews, troubleshoot technical issues, and maintain project focus.
- Support senior engineers with career development and growth.
- Strong experience in mechanical engineering, including Finite Element Analysis (FEA), CAD, and complex mechanical systems.
- Proven leadership in managing cross-functional teams, with a focus on mentoring and developing staff.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with customer-facing technical projects and complex customised products.
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field, with at least 5 years of experience in a lead design role.
- Knowledge of manufacturing engineering, materials, and quality systems.
