Configuration Manager Role type: Full time permanent position with hybrid working. Job Description: We are seeking for a dynamic leader to push forward the modernisation of the Configuration Management system. In this key role you will play a key role in ensuring automated and integrated CM processes to ensure the delivery of innovative and high-quality solutions that are aligned with the organisational goals. Job Responsibilities:
- Leading a high performing Configuration Management team, establishing a collaborative and pragmatic approach.
- Implement scalable Configuration Management processes that will aid in fostering continuous improvement.
- Drive the adoption of tools and automation to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to deliver high quality Configuration Management practices which align with the organisational goals.
- Overseeing change control to ensure transparency and traceability.
- Track and report Configuration Management performance.
- Experience in configuration management with a focus on lifecycle management, automation and collaboration.
- Experience with CM tools such as Git, Jenkins, Jira and other similar platforms.
- Proven leadership and organisational skills.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline; CMII or CM2-P qualification preferred.
- SC Clearance required.
- Good understanding of CM processes, tools and best practices.
- Optional 9-day fortnight
