Your Role in the Team: As a React Web Engineer , you will:

• Develop and maintain efficient web applications using React , TypeScript , and Tailwind CSS.
• Use Vite to accelerate development, ensuring rapid prototyping and efficient builds.
• Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests using Vitest, ensuring robust and reliable applications.
• Build, test, and document reusable UI components with Storybook , maintaining consistency and scalability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver a seamless, user-friendly product, optimising for performance and scalability.
• Contribute to code reviews , CI/CD pipelines , and stay updated on emerging web technologies to drive innovation.

To Be Successful, You Will Need:

• At least 5 years of web development experience , with a strong track record of building and maintaining complex applications.
• Proficiency in React , including hooks, context API, and TypeScript .
• Expertise in modern web technologies, including Tailwind CSS , HTML5 , and CSS3.
• Hands-on experience with Vite for optimised development workflows.
• Strong experience with testing frameworks such as Vitest or Jest.
• Proficiency with Storybook for developing and documenting scalable UI components.
• Familiarity with state management libraries, API integration, responsive design, and version control (Git).
• A self-starter attitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a distributed team environment.
• Experience in the financial services industry is a plus but not essential.

Location: Fully remote, preferably in the UK, however other locations may be considered providing your written and spoken English skills are exceptional/fluent, you are eligible to work in the UK with UK NI and UK bank account. Working Hours: Fully flexible working arrangements, but you will need to be willing to dedicate time outside of standard working hours during critical development phases leading up to launch.
