  1. Lead by example, managing complex applications and mentoring junior staff.
  2. Be the expert and provide guidance and advice to stakeholders on resource consents.
  3. Advocate for best practices, contributing to policy development and ensuring positive planning outcomes.
  4. Communicate effectively, presenting evidence at hearings and collaborating with diverse groups.
To ensure you are set up for success, you will bring:
  1. A strong background in resource consent processing with a deep understanding of the Resource Management Act and regional/district planning rules.
  2. The ability to connect with people of all backgrounds is key.
  3. Strong analytical and decision-making skills to solve problems and interpret data.
