Job Summary

The Finance Executive will manage the financial operations of the company, ensuring accurate reporting, efficient budgeting, and proper financial planning. This role involves monitoring financial health, preparing reports, ensuring compliance with regulations, and supporting strategic decision-making through sound financial analysis.

Key Responsibilities Financial Management & Reporting:

Prepare and maintain financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.

Oversee daily financial transactions and ensure accuracy in recordkeeping.

Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review. Budgeting & Forecasting:

Assist in creating and managing budgets for the company and individual projects.

Conduct financial forecasting to predict future trends and support decision-making.

Monitor actual performance against budgets and recommend adjustments as needed. Accounts Management:

Oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable processes.

Ensure timely invoicing, payment collection, and vendor payments.

Reconcile bank statements and financial discrepancies. Taxation & Compliance:

Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and statutory requirements.

Prepare and file tax returns, VAT, and other regulatory submissions accurately and on time.

Collaborate with auditors and regulatory bodies for financial audits. Strategic Financial Planning:

Analyze financial data to identify cost-saving opportunities and areas for improvement.

Provide insights to support investment decisions and long-term financial planning.

Evaluate financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them. Team Collaboration:

Work closely with other departments to provide financial guidance for projects.

Support management in strategic planning and policy development. Process Improvement:

Streamline financial processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.

Implement financial systems and tools to enhance operational effectiveness.

Qualifications & Skills Educational Background:

A degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.

Professional certifications such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA are a plus.

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a finance or accounting role.

Experience in the interior design or construction industry is an advantage.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Zoho) and Microsoft Excel.

Strong understanding of financial principles, budgeting, and tax regulations.

Soft Skills:

Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Strong organizational and time-management skills.

High attention to detail and accuracy.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
