Who Are We Looking For?

We are seeking a skilled Legal Counsel with 2-3 years of experience specializing in labor laws and DOLE-related disputes to join our expanding team. As our business continues to grow, we need a dedicated professional to ensure compliance with Philippine regulations while supporting our commitment to providing exemplary employer-of-record services.

Technical Experiences

1. Bachelor’s degree in Law, Legal Management, or equivalent.
2. Admission to the Philippine Bar is a must.
3. Experience in working in a law firm is a must.
4. 2-3 years of experience in labor law, employment relations, or legal compliance roles.
5. In-depth knowledge of Philippine labor laws (e.g., DOLE regulations, Data Privacy Act) and exposure to cross-border employment are preferred.
6. Experience handling labor disputes, arbitrations, and NLRC cases.
7. Experience in EOR or remote staffing industries.
8. Proficiency in drafting legal documents and policy frameworks.
9. Effective use of Microsoft Office and Google Workspace, with a keen interest in learning AI tools.

Reporting to a Filipino-based Legal manager, you will be responsible for drafting and reviewing contracts and policies to ensure compliance with Philippine labor laws, tracking legislative updates, and managing labor standards, including wage regulations and the offboarding process. It also includes handling employee disputes to prevent escalations, representing the company in labor litigation, and supporting performance management. Additionally, the role ensures compliance with the Data Privacy Act, identifies legal risks, and provides legal advice. Training on labor law compliance and employee rights is also a key responsibility.
