Senior Craft CMS Developer

Zarla is a unique AI startup with a bold mission: to give every new business owner a high-converting, life-changing website in seconds without any of the frustrations that typical website builders are known for. Our founder is a serial entrepreneur himself - he knows firsthand the struggles that new businesses face, and his passion for supporting local entrepreneurs is the entire reason why Zarla exists today. Because of that, it's important that we find a Senior Craft CMS Developer who is excited about entrepreneurship and driven to help small businesses succeed. You will be working directly with our founder in this role. We are fully remote, so you will interact daily over Slack with every person on our tight-knit team, including the leadership team who've launched multiple startups, raised millions of dollars in funding, and have experience creating and building successful businesses from the ground up. What will you work on all day?

• Maintain and extend multiple Craft CMS based sites.
• Build cool mini-apps (business name generators, logo makers, etc) that sit at the top of our marketing funnel and bring in millions of new business owners each month.
• Develop landing pages, "coming soon" pages, and other marketing assets that drive high-value traffic into our AI Website Builder.
• Integrate and optimize our marketing stack to ensure seamless data flow and actionable insights. We already use Intercom, Segment, Heap Analytics, Craft CMS, Anthropic/OpenAI, Transifex, Webflow, and Whimsical. We are always up for testing any new bit of tech that can give our marketing funnel an edge.
• Create engaging visual content, such as screen recordings and product demos, to showcase our AI tools and support our content marketing efforts

About you: You're a great communicator. But more than that, you're also good at translating complex marketing requirements into clean, efficient code. You're an optimizer - you naturally find the best path to success for whoever you're helping. Maybe you've always been that way, or maybe it comes from your years of experience in a development role focused on marketing initiatives. You have the ability to understand the marketing team's needs, and then provide a tailored solution. It goes without saying that you love making an impact and you love honest, open feedback. Ineffective marketing pages really hit you hard. You take it very personally when a campaign fails to deliver results. You probably won't sleep easily that night. But you learn from it, figure out the solution, and implement it. Understanding the big picture is important to you as well. You're very familiar with modern front-end development technologies and have a solid understanding of online marketing, SEO, lead generation, and conversion rate optimization. You also love the fact that technology is constantly in flux. When you come across a new concept, tool, or service, it doesn't hold you back. • This is a 100% fully remote role.
• Competitive salary range: ₱150,000 - ₱300,000 per month
• Monday to Friday Philippines business hours mostly. Weekend or outside business hours in exceptional circumstances only. Our leadership team is based in Sydney.
• Zarla also offers 20 days of paid vacation per year and 10 days of paid/sick personal leave per year, plus paid public holidays.
