Python Web Scraping Developer

Python Web Scraping | Selenium | Python | SQL We are looking for a Python Web Scraping Developer with great experience in data extraction and automation.

About the role:

• We are looking for an experienced Web scraping developer to work on a London based FinTech. This role will be fully remote and permanent, where selected members will be part of Magic Factory's clients teams driving this world class product.
• You will be part of the founding team led by stellar entrepreneurs.

Roles & Responsibilities Responsibilities:

• Develop and support advanced scraping engine backend.
• Add new data sources for scraping
• Strong knowledge of APIs and data extraction
• Experience working in an Agile development environment
• Additionally, you are willing to learn new technologies / frameworks if the role demands it.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's / Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 4+ years of experience in Python and web scraping.
• Familiarity with tools / modules such as: Scrapy, Selenium, Playwright, Requests, Beautiful Soup etc.
• API tools such as Postman or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of SQL(SQLAlchemy).
• Experience with web crawling and data extraction.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
