Successful candidates will join the EY Financial Service’s Climate Change and Sustainability Services team, within our Assurance practice. The Role This role will place you at the heart of a high-energy, agile team committed to helping clients build long-term sustainable businesses. Key service areas include:- Sustainability reporting and assurance
- EY’s Sustainability Digital Strategy
- Sustainability strategy
- Carbon measurement and management
- Responsible investment
- Manage work streams to deliver key projects for our clients.
- Create innovative commercial insights for clients and contribute to thought leadership.
- Contribute to improving operational efficiency on projects.
- Lead teams on engagements, focusing on anticipating and identifying risks.
- Coach and counsel junior team members.
- Engage with clients regarding the application of methodologies.
- Collaborate with colleagues outside of Sustainable Finance.
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills, verbal and written
- 5+ years of relevant experience in sustainability / ESG.
- A keen interest in ESG as it relates to financial services.
- Strong academic record including a relevant degree.
- An understanding of key sustainability issues and trends.
- Experience working on complex projects.
- Exposure to finance, strategy, and communications functions.
- Support and coaching from engaging colleagues.
- Opportunities to develop new skills.
