Reports To: Retail Marketing Manager Location: Based at Galway headquarters with travel to retail stores as required

Job Purpose

The Marketing Executive will contribute to developing and implementing marketing strategies that increase footfall, drive sales, and enhance the in-store experience across our retail locations. Working closely with the Retail Marketing Manager, this role will also ensure alignment with the broader marketing team to maintain a cohesive brand presence across all channels.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Strategy and Implementation:
  1. Driving sales by supporting the Retail Marketing Manager in developing and executing retail-specific marketing initiatives.
  2. Research and identify new opportunities to drive customer engagement and footfall.
  3. Develop and implement in-store campaigns, ensuring alignment with brand standards.
  4. Analyse and report on campaign effectiveness, suggesting improvements where necessary.
Retail Operations Support:
  1. Increasing sales through regularly visiting retail stores to identify potential improvements in customer experience and visual merchandising.
  2. Collaborate with store managers and staff to implement marketing strategies effectively.
  3. Conduct competitor analysis to identify market trends and opportunities.
Collaboration with Marketing Teams:
  1. Support sales growth by working with the digital marketing team to integrate store-specific campaigns into social media and online platforms.
  2. Collaborate with the PR team on initiatives to promote in-store events or product launches.
  3. Coordinate with in-house designers to create promotional materials.
Customer Insights and Data Analysis:
  1. Conduct customer surveys and focus groups to gather insights for strategy refinement.
  2. Monitor customer feedback to identify opportunities for improving the in-store experience.
  3. Stay informed about market trends and innovations in retail marketing.
Event Planning and Management:
  1. Organize in-store events, exhibitions, and seasonal promotions.
  2. Liaise with vendors and suppliers to ensure the timely delivery of material.

Skills and Competencies

  • Analytical Skills: Ability to assess campaign performance and make data-driven recommendations.
  • Creativity: Innovative thinker capable of crafting engaging marketing strategies.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in retail or marketing roles, preferably within the furniture or home decor industry.
  • Familiarity with marketing tools and software (e.g., CRM systems, social media platforms).
  • Willingness to travel as part of the role with own car and full driver license.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Increase in sales foot traffic across retail locations.
  • Successful implementation of campaigns within budget and on schedule.
  • Positive feedback from store managers and customers regarding marketing initiatives.
