Development Lead for Personal Banking and Warsaw side lead in Banking We are searching for a Development Lead (manager) - Nykredit For this role, we are looking for someone to join Nykredit – one of the banks BEC Poland works closely with. Nykredit is both a bank and a mortgage provider owned by an association of customers. Being customer-owned, they are in a unique position to give something back to their customers when they are doing well. Together they can simply do more for their customers and for society. You will be responsible for providing IT solutions that support Nykredit's personal banking strategy. This involves both in-house IT solutions and third-party vendor solutions. Additionally, this area manages core banking responsibilities delivered by BEC to ensure a reliable and seamless customer experience. In this role, you will lead a team with 10 employees. Primary tasks and responsibilities include:- Build a high-performing team that can efficiently deliver on the team's backlog.
- Take responsibility for the well-being and effectiveness of the team.
- Ensure quality and compliance with common standards and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure that development adheres to architectural principles and guidelines.
- Be a competent technical sparring partner for the Product Owner and other business stakeholders.
- Be responsible for ongoing recruitment and performance follow-up.
- Technical Expertise: strong IT background with deep insights into IT solutions and development (experience working in technology solutions for the financial industry).
- Leadership Skills: proven experience in leading and managing teams, focusing on employee satisfaction and performance.
- Communication Skills: fluent English at a business and IT-technical high level; having a strong IT background or deep insight into IT is a significant advantage.
- Delivery Focus: ability to ensure timely, high-quality project deliveries and manage resources effectively.
- Continuous Improvement: committed to enhancing processes and solutions to boost team efficiency and product quality.
- Proactive and Curious: initiative-driven in pursuing digital ambitions and team goals.
- Relationship Builder: skilled in maintaining strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Higher education degree - MSc/MA.
