Project QS | Residential Developer Blanchardstown | €75-€85k A prominent Irish Residential Developer is seeking an experienced Project QS for Residential Projects in Dublin and Kildare. The role is pivotal in managing costs, maximizing project value, and ensuring the financial success of our developments. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage detailed cost estimates, budgets, and forecasts for residential projects
- Prepare tender documents, including bills of quantities (BoQ) and specifications
- Evaluate supplier and subcontractor tenders, ensuring value for money and compliance with project requirements
- Negotiate, draft, and manage contracts with suppliers and subcontractors
- Oversee the preparation and submission of interim valuations and final accounts
- Monitor and manage project budgets, identifying and mitigating cost risks
- Work closely with the development and construction teams to align financial objectives with project goals
- Provide regular financial reports and updates to senior management and stakeholders
- Conduct regular site visits to assess progress, verify measurements, and ensure alignment with budgets
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or a related field
- 5-7 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor, with a strong focus on residential development in Ireland
- Proficiency in quantity surveying software
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills
