We do not discriminate on the basis of age, pregnancy or marital/civil partnerships, religion or belief, gender, disability.” Job Overview: Improve the EHS of employees by facilitating, monitoring, and ensuring the actual implementation of the EHS Management System on the shop floor and providing guidance where needed. Responsibilities:

  1. Provide EHS advice/guidance/coaching to the plant team using different approaches.
  2. Assist the EHS Manager in the implementation, development and monitoring of the EHS policies and procedures.
  3. Complete regular checks and inspections and prepare related reports.
  4. Conduct behavioral safety observations and provide support to develop site BS program.
  5. Conduct periodical checks on the plant clinic and prepare evaluation and feedback reports.
  6. Coordinate the implementation or conduct EHS trainings as identified by EHS manager.
  7. Develop effective communication media for communication at all levels of the business.
  8. Check readiness of fire alarm firefighting systems and take immediate actions in case of malfunctions.
  9. Distribute, check and arrange for the periodical fire extinguishers inspection and maintenance.
  10. Monitor compliance on the shop floor of PPEs, KSBs, and SWPs.
  11. Update safety logs/registers and file and control all safety records.
  12. Check and update all EHS communication means and report/fix any incorrect situations.
  13. Participate in risk assessments, accident investigations, and inspections as assigned.
  14. Follow up with all plant departments to ensure EHS reports are done in due time.
  15. Recognize and embrace positive behaviors and practices.
  16. Carry out monthly audits on Accident Investigation.
  17. Take immediate corrective actions in case of violations or concerns affecting safety.
Qualifications: BA/BS required in the area of Occupational Safety Health, Supply Chain or related quantitative discipline. #J-18808-Ljbffr
