Learn more at . Role - SAP ABAP Senior Consultant Responsibilities

  1. ABAP 7.5 coding and RICEFW Development using ABAP on HANA.
  2. Handle support tickets.
  3. Development using integration techniques like Rest API, ABAP Proxy, RFC.
  4. Interact with function and technical team to understand the requirements and propose solutions & deliver objects.
  5. Work independently on complex developments.
  6. Guide junior team members to deliver quality and timely developments.
  7. Debug, troubleshoot Fiori applications, BRF+ applications, ABAP custom code, and find performance issues at various levels and fix them.
SAP Skills
  1. 5-8 years of experience in one or more SAP modules.
  2. 2 implementation experiences on S4H ABAP.
  3. Experience with ABAP 7.5 coding standards and RICEFW Development using ABAP on HANA.
  4. Understands SAP Activate Methodology.
  5. Understands integration between modules.
  6. Leads detailed module-specific configuration and master data development.
  7. Highly proficient with OData debugging and locating issues.
  8. Understands Web / Enterprise Services including ABAP Proxy and SAP APIs.
  9. Experience with integration techniques like Rest API, ABAP Proxy, RFC, IDOC & XML.
  10. Proficient in ABAP on HANA, AMDP & CDS views.
  11. Expertise in enhancing standard SAP functionality leveraging standard enhancements framework.
  12. Good knowledge in developing Data migration programs and using related tools.
  13. Strong experience in ABAP troubleshooting and debugging skills.
  14. Understands functional and technical specifications in detail.
  15. Add-on skills like Webdynpro, Workflow, and Module Pool Programming is a plus.

  1. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  2. Experience with Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
  3. Understand business processes for focus area or module.
  4. Strong analytical skills.
  5. Understand business functionality related to SAP module/application.
  6. Identify and understand touch points between modules.
  7. Understand how to solve detailed SAP problems.
  8. Explain best business practices, especially those that SAP enables.

  1. Aptitude for working in a team environment.
  2. Problem-solving skills, creative thinking, and strong time management.
  3. Ability to interpret requirements and apply SAP best practices.
  4. Mentor associate consultants.
  5. Seek ways to increase their level of contribution and team effectiveness.

  1. Lead and focus project team efforts in developing solutions for client situations.
  2. Evaluate and design application and/or technical architectures.
  3. Complete assignments within budget, meet project deadlines, maintain sensible commitments to client and team.
  4. Meet billing efficiency targets, comply with all administrative responsibilities in a timely and effective manner.
  5. Keep project management aware of project direction and client concerns.
  6. Understand client’s business and technical environments.
  7. Prepare status reports regularly.
