Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Planning & Strategy: Develop and implement a content calendar that aligns with the brand's goals and resonates with the target audience.
  • Social Media Engagement: Engage with followers by responding to comments, messages, and mentions. Create polls, contests, and other interactive content.
  • Campaign Management: Create and manage social media campaigns (paid and organic) to promote products or services.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Monitor social media metrics (likes, shares, comments, etc.) to track the success of campaigns and content.
  • Brand Consistency: Ensure that all posts, messaging, and designs align with the brand's voice, mission, and values.
  • Community Building: Grow and nurture a loyal following by fostering relationships with followers, influencers, and partners.
Skills Needed:
  • Creativity: Ability to create engaging and visually appealing content.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills to create compelling posts and interact with followers.
  • Project Management: Organizing social media schedules, campaigns, and deadlines.
  • Trend Awareness: Staying up-to-date with the latest social media trends and platform features.
  • Tool Proficiency: Experience with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Buffer).
Educational Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  2. Certifications in Social Media Management (preferred):
  • HubSpot Social Media Marketing Certification
  • Hootsuite Social Marketing Certification
  • Meta Certified Digital Marketing Associate (Facebook and Instagram-focused)
  • Google Analytics Certification
Experience:
  1. 1-3 years of experience in social media management, digital marketing, or related fields.
  2. Proven track record of successfully managing social media accounts for businesses or brands.
Technical Skills:
  1. Social Media Platforms:
  • Expertise in Facebook, Instagram, Twitter (X), LinkedIn, Pinterest, TikTok, and emerging platforms.
  1. Content Creation:
  • Proficiency in creating and curating engaging multimedia content (text, images, and video).
  • Knowledge of tools like Canva, Adobe Photoshop, or Lightroom for visual content.
  1. Analytics & Reporting:
  • Familiarity with platform-specific analytics tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn Analytics).
  • Experience with social media management tools like Hootsuite, Buffer, or Sprout Social.
  1. Scheduling Tools:
  • Proficiency in tools like Later, Planoly, or Hootsuite for scheduling posts and campaigns.
  1. Ad Campaigns:
  • Understanding of paid advertising campaigns on platforms like Facebook Ads Manager, Instagram Ads, and LinkedIn Campaign Manager.
Soft Skills:
  1. Strong writing and communication skills, including storytelling and crafting brand-appropriate messages.
  2. Creative mindset with the ability to generate fresh and engaging ideas.
  3. Excellent organizational and time-management skills for handling multiple accounts.
  4. Strong interpersonal skills for engaging with audiences and responding to inquiries.
  5. Analytical mindset for interpreting data and making data-driven decisions.
