We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Last Mile Operations Supervisor to join our dynamic team within the logistics and supply chain sector. This pivotal role will focus on overseeing the execution of efficient last-mile delivery operations to ensure the successful completion of our customer orders. The Last Mile Operations Supervisor will be responsible for managing a team of delivery personnel, monitoring delivery performance, and implementing operational best practices to enhance service delivery and customer satisfaction. This position requires a strong leader who can work collaboratively with various stakeholders, including warehouse teams, customer service, and transportation departments. The ideal candidate will possess excellent problem-solving skills and will be adept at utilizing technology to streamline logistics processes. With a keen focus on performance metrics, the supervisor will drive process improvements that enhance delivery efficiency while ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage daily operations of last-mile delivery activities.
  • Coordinate and optimize delivery routes to ensure timely and efficient service.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to delivery efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Train, mentor, and develop delivery personnel to uphold company standards and performance.
  • Implement and maintain safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Liaise with other departments to streamline logistics operations and resolve issues promptly.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement operational changes as necessary.
Skills Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in logistics or supply chain operations, with a focus on last-mile delivery.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams effectively.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Knowledge of logistics technologies and transportation regulations.
